Just a quick post today….I didn’t really get much times to sculpt. Today just took a concept from CGHubs and try to sculpt it as fast as possible. I sculpted about 2.5 hours on this. The original concepts is from Evil Beast by VEREHIN. Here is the linke of his work on CGHubs
wow it’s been a while since last time I post on the blog and I only got 4 more month to go with this 1YR-Poject!!! Just been super busy with works and freelance works. Hopefully I will be able to get back in track and get some more sculpting within time
Annnnd here is a re-sculpt of the Picasso…..I know, I know, I know, I was suppose to be done with this sculpt and move forward. But I just wasn’t really satisfy where I left off. It just felt that this sculpt have a lot of potential to be even better!!! So I started with smoothing on the face and did some minor adjustment of the face. Then I spent almost 2-3 hours just to get the SSS shader going in Zbrush. The result turned out pretty good. Next stop, I will try to rework the texture and more shader adjustment, too….

Here is a quick post of last work of 2012. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get times to work on the other character over the holiday. But I was able to find little times to doodle around…..ended up with this dude! Play around with the fur and the rendering setting in zbrush. Now fun is over! back to the other 2 projects

Here goes another 2 days of work. Each day I spent about an hours. (Right before work ) The body came out pretty nice. The head is still a bit big….or maybe the hair is making it big. Just going to keep working on it. Of course the hand too :/ A lot more work need to be done…..Hopefully I get to work on it more, either during the holiday or before.

So I also started this project couple weeks ago, Which again taking ppl’s concept and make it 3D. But haven’t get a chance to continue to work on it. This concept is done by Marat Ars. It’s his redesign of Painkiller of 25 Years later. Not sure where Painkiller coming from. But the concept is just sick. It contained a lot of emotions on the character. Thought it can be a great challenge for me
So I started model with the head, then body. Follow by the fur on him. The hair at the moment is a placeholder, of course it’s too smooth and nice. I want to maintain that roughness on him…most likely going to redo that part….
